Teen Car Insurance Rates are not Cheap
I found a great post: cheap car insurance for teenagers. Well, I'm not sure there really is such a thing, but I do know that a little effort can save you some money...as much as 30 - 40 percent. Here are some tips.
1. Look for good student discounts if your teenager gets at least a B average.
2. Approved Driver's Education Courses earn a discount with many companies.
3. Safer cars, car safety features, and even anti-theft devices can each shave 10 percent off your rate in discounts.
4. Consider combining multiple policies with the same insurer. More then one driver, car, or even an auto home discount can help!
5. SHOP!!! I shopped around and saved about $50 a month off of my family insurance bill. Hey, that's $600 a year, and worth a bit of effort for most of us. I think this website has the best car insurance quotes. It makes shopping pretty easy.

I too have the same opinion that teen car insurance is always an expensive option. The tips that you have shared will do help in some way but I am not sure if they will help one to save 30-40 percent. One thing that I have noticed and that do helps in saving money is to register the policy in the name of some experienced person of the family and making him as the primary driver will helps in lowering the premium.
